Word About Notebooks
I have found that a 3-ring loose-leaf binder works best in my Spanish classes. I provide students with graphic organizers, vocabulary lists, worksheets and review sheets, all which can become very messy if not organized properly. A binder gives students a place to keep all their notes, handouts and other important class materials secure and organized. This is the notebook requirement for my class. Spiral notebooks are not acceptable. If this presents any problems, please contact me. Students should also have 2 folders, one to store returned, grade work and one to leave at home for notes that are no longer needed at the end of a unit. In addition, students must come prepared everyday with a writing utensil. They should have an adequate supply of pens and pencils on a daily basis. Again, if this presents any problems, please contact me. This is all part of my effort to ensure my students' success in Spanish. |
